The village of Nquthu may now be a
busy, westernised trading centre but
its surroundings offer a rare glimpse
into traditional ways of life largely
undisturbed by modern influence. This
area remains known to the Zulu as
amasotsheni - a reference to the
British soldiers who fought at the
nearby battlefields.
