Description : Considered to be the best Anglo Boer War Museum in the country, the Siege Museum had a humble beginning as a vegetable market place in 1884. Today it houses one of the greatest collections of artifacts from the Siege of Ladysmith & the Anglo Boer War of 1899 - 1902. Displays are in English, Afrikaans & Zulu. View these in the comfort of an air-conditioned environment. The museum has an excellent book shop selling hard to find books on the Anglo Boer War. Opening hours: Weekdays: 09h00 - 16h00, Saturdays: 09h00 - 13h00.
Locality : Between town hall and Post Office.
